Sunday Mornings, Saved for the Girls.
OUR STORY
One year out of college, nobody warned me how hard it actually is to make friends. That real need for more genuine connection is what started all of this.
The idea came to me on a Sunday morning walk. It was just a walk, like any other Sunday. And somewhere along the way, the concept and the name came to life. The Sunday Morning Club.
I went home that same day and spent three hours building it. The logo, the colors, the whole vision. Within a week, I announced our first walk. No big plans, no goals. I just wanted to see what would happen.
I woke up that Sunday morning and 77 women had shown up.
This past year has been just me. Planning every walk, scouting every route, building every partnership, and showing up every single Sunday morning. But none of it would have meant anything without the support from those close to me, and every woman who showed up too.
The woman who met her new best friend here. The stay-at-home mom who finally had a morning just for herself. The girl who just moved to Minneapolis and walked away with her first friend in a new city.
Those are the moments that made every Sunday morning worth it.
Our first walk had 77 women. Our second had 184. This past International Women's Day, over 300 women showed up in a single morning. In just one year, over 2,500 women have come through the Sunday Morning Club.
What started as a walking club has grown into a full walking and social community, with events, local partnerships, fitness collabs, and themed Sundays that keep things fresh. Every Sunday has looked a little different. But every woman has walked away with the same feeling.
Community, and a sense of girlhood.
Thank you to every woman who has ever shown up on a Sunday morning, and to everyone who has supported this along the way. We genuinely could not have done it without you.
Sunday mornings, saved for the girls. And we are just getting started.
XO, Isabelle
